This is a little disheartening. 😟 The plane ride back home was very hard on my spinal procedure. I was hoping I wouldn’t have as many epileptic seizures as soon as the CSF leaks were patched (and some people don’t) but after a 4.5 hour plane ride, my spine and brain was not doing so well. It can take 6-8 weeks to heal and get rid of the related symptoms of the leak so I still have some hope. I also ended up taking second doses of seizure meds late which is a typical trigger. Regardless, this was very embarrassing. It was taking about 10 min to recover completely out of these and I was tired. Ruben had me inject emergency medication in case they got worse. I definitely received a lot of stares. I’m so glad we didn’t miss the next flight but I was so exhausted. For those asking what I’m thinking during these seizures, the answer is nothing. I have no idea that they are happening. After one or even a few I might say something like “I don’t feel that great” because of all the aftermath ...
