Echo could 100% smell that I was behind that door. This was an emotional reunion for me. I’ve never been away from Echo for so long. After reuniting I let him work a few laps around the hospital and meet the nurses I have become close with. I could barely get around but he heeled beautifully even at my slow pace as I held on to my infusion pump for support. I teared up getting to walk with him and Halston by my side again. I miss them and home everyday.
