Answering pregnancy questions amidst serious conditions. I know it’s scary for a lot of people so I wanted to be transparent.
The dogs wouldn’t be able to come into the NICU anyways but having that hair and dander on me could be dangerous to the baby. My safety is important but the cons outweigh the pros for me.

Certain eggs can be removed to prevent certain gene mutations via IVF. However, if you have a condition, you know what your quality of life is. I wouldn’t change my life because it makes me who I am. It’s not my place or any ‘non doctor’s’ place to tell someone not to have children due to genes.
