“Social media managers are doomed.” That’s what someone said when one of our phoenixkeanalytics members demoed their AI Social Media Agent at Data Fest Africa hosted by Aga Khan University I was on a panel about community-led data infrastructure and I said something I stand by:“Africa doesn’t have a data problem. It has a visibility and connection problem.” The proof was right there on the floor. Some of our Phoenix Ke Analytics community members were exhibiting their own AI Agents! One built a Social Media AI Agent that drafts posts, responds to comments, and engages followers. Someone joked, “Social media managers are doomed.” Another built a Cart Recovery Agent that automatically reaches out to customers with abandoned carts and gives them discounts to complete their purchases.
