I used to think I was just someone who tried to be considerate of other people. Now I can see how often I was really afraid of disappointing them. It’s strange how something can feel like a personality trait for so long before you realize it was actually fear. Fear of letting people down. Fear of creating tension. Or fear of being misunderstood, to name a few. And when you live like that long enough, you learn to make decisions based on what keeps everyone else comfortable instead of what actually feels right for you. Anyone else ever realize this about themselves? . #womenwholift #personalgrowthjourney #selfdiscoveryjourney #mindsetshift #peoplepleasing
