I used to think I was one of the few women who felt like this. People have told me that I walk around with this energy that makes it seem like I have my life together… like I’m confident, or even a little intimidating in a way. And even though I have no idea where they got that from — because it’s never been my intention to “front” — some people have even mistaken it for me being stuck up… at least until they actually talk to me. But what they weren’t seeing was that I was still figuring myself out too. Trying to understand who I was, what I wanted, what kind of life actually felt right for me, and how I was going to create it. So I’ve realized I am one of those women. Walking around looking like I have it together… while still learning and becoming who I was always meant to be. And the older I get, the more I realize a lot of women feel this way too.
