It was never that I was afraid of hard work. I’ve always been someone who will do what needs to be done, especially when it comes to supporting my family or taking care of responsibilities. It wasn’t effort or discipline that I struggled with. It was the idea of settling for a life that didn’t feel right. There were plenty of paths I could’ve taken that probably would’ve worked out fine. But deep down I knew I didn’t want to spend my life just going through the motions or constantly waiting for the weekend. So I kept thinking, questioning, and trying to figure out what direction actually felt right for me. At the time that felt like confusion. But eventually I realized it was really self-awareness. Some people can confidently follow a path that already exists. But some of us have to build our own. It might take a little longer, but for us, it’s worth it. Have you ever felt like someone mistook your hesitation for a lack of ambition? . #womenwholift #personalgrowthjourney ...
