This is my own scar camouflage journey 👇🏻
Same breast reduction surgery in 2018.
Same scar story… just on my right side.
This one healed hypertrophic. It became raised and thick, so they injected it with steroids (and another medication) to flatten it.
It did flatten…
But it also spread.
The skin turned very thin, purple-ish, almost translucent after the injections. If you’ve ever had steroid shots in a scar — you know exactly what I mean.
Instead of rushing to camouflage it with pigment right away, I did what I always preach:
1️⃣ Heal first (minimum 12 months)
2️⃣ Strengthen the tissue
3️⃣ Improve texture before adding color (inkless technique)
Both of these sessions were inkless scar revision tattoos.
No pigment. No color. Just controlled collagen stimulation.
And look at the difference after just 2 sessions.
The skin is thicker.
The tone is softer.
The scar looks less “angry” and much less noticeable.
