I was booked 6 months out by my second year in business. Fast forward to 2024–2025… And yes — it got harder. We’re seeing big PMU studios and academies downsizing. Some are closing entirely. Rent is expensive. Ads don’t work like they used to. Clients are more cautious. But here’s the truth most people won’t say 👇 The industry isn’t dying. It’s cleaning itself out. People who entered PMU for quick, easy money are struggling. Clients are smarter now — they want healed results, not filtered fresh work. They ask better questions. They research. They care who touches their face. And honestly? That’s a good thing.
