A huge congratulations to our Class of 2026 SWO ladies who, a little over a week ago, chose their first ships & homeport. A night of celebration as our first-class (senior) midshipmen select assigned as Surface Warfare Officers (SWOs) select their first ship and homeport. Held again in Alumni Hall this year, Ship selection features a draft-style format where midshipmen choose from available Navy vessels—including destroyers, cruisers, and carriers worldwide—when their name is called.
