I had the honor to be part of paxosbiennale this year. Over the course of two weeks, I had the incredible opportunity to create an art intervention at an ancient olive tree that is 2500 years old. This remarkable tree allowed me to integrate into its ecosystem. I brought a traditional "Colombian braid," which grandmothers craft by hand and give as a gift to their children to symbolize prosperity and abundance in life. I created my own personal colorful braid intervention called “BONDS OF KINDNESS” and offered it to the tree in a conceptual and artistic way. I worked 12 hours a day, sharing the space with magnificent spiders, snakes, mice, birds, and lizards that inhabit this natural, vast environment.
