Ever wondered why SLP is structured the way it is or why we often feel stuck in a training and credentialing system that isn’t working as well as it could? Audiologists, do you feel the double bind of having one foot in ASHA and one foot out? The PACT Survey (Perspectives Across Clinical Training) is a national research project led by the University of Montana exploring how clinical training, credentialing, and licensure actually function in SLP (and where they don’t). Our goal is to collect cross-stakeholder data that helps the field move from frustration to clarity. We’re building a cross-disciplinary advisory panel to review survey drafts, refine the questions we ask, and help interpret findings before publication.
