🚪 “The World Can Wait”: Swinging open a secret door, I marveled at the speakeasy private club Centurion Haus, hidden inside the iconic Raffles Hotel, Singapore. Disguised as a trendy Pop Mart storefront, the Centurion Haus private members club for Amex Centurion black card owners was such a delight to visit. 🤵🏻 We were welcomed by a cocktail ‘lus Centurionis’ (‘Centurion’s Elixir’), which draws inspiration from Roman Centurion’s diet, with a Macallan Double Cask whiskey base topped with refreshing notes of apple, barley, Chardonnay, clove and lemon. 🍋 For lunch, I had the classic Singaporean dish Hainanese chicken rice, and the lamb satay.
