At just seventeen, NASA intern Wolf Cukier made a remarkable discovery while reviewing data from the TESS space telescope. On his third day at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, he noticed unusual patterns in starlight that others had missed. Further analysis revealed a previously unknown exoplanet, later named TOI 1338 b.
