Myopia is corrected using a concave lens that diverges incoming light rays before they enter the eye. In a myopic eye, light from distant objects focuses in front of the retina because the eyeball is too long or the cornea bends light too much. The concave lens spreads the rays so the eye can focus them directly on the retina. This restores clear vision for distant objects and reduces the blurriness that people with myopia experience when looking far away. Want more interesting content like this ?
