Today is officially 1 week since my explant surgery. This morning I woke up with pain at a 7. But as I stood in my favorite aunt’s kitchen, dreaming about how to help other women access explant surgery, something beautiful happened... My pain - this pain - is purposeful. Right now, as I type this from this very spot where inspiration struck, my pain is a faint 1-2.
