I am Swapnil Jadhav. Born & raised in Mumbai. Residing close to the airport, I had the privilege to wake up with the airplane’s engine sounds. Take offs and landings were like my morning alarms. Since my dad had been working for an airline in India, I have had the opportunity of seeing the cockpit from very close. I was a curious child who wanted to know how planes fly. It was an astounding experience. I never thought of becoming a pilot, may be an engineer, but obviously not one sitting in the cockpit and flying this beautiful metal bird. But destiny had other plans for me. I went for my CPL training and after returning, the aviation industry was hit by recession, as an airline had shutdown. I was unemployed for a while. As I was loosing all hopes, I took a ground job with Singapore airlines followed by Etihad airways in Ticketing and Reservations.
