I don't know who needs to hear this, but... ⤵️ You don’t need approval from people who’ve never sat in your child's IEP meetings, held them through a meltdown, or navigated life between endless therapies, appointments, and stares from strangers. They haven’t lived your reality... The daily advocacy, the strength it takes just to show up, the mental load you carry without rest. You know your child. You know what works. You’ve learned to trust your instincts, even when others questioned them. You’ve made hard decisions with your child’s best interest at heart. You don’t need to explain, defend, or shrink yourself to fit other people's expectations. Especially not for the comfort of people who’ve never walked a mile in your shoes.
