The holiday season brings a mix of emotions for me every year...
It can be beautiful and heavy all at once.
Over the years it has felt like every plan has had to shift, every tradition needed to be reimagined, and every gathering came with its own layer of mental prep.
And even then, there’s often this underlying whisper of guilt and sting of being misunderstood.
But here’s what I've learned:
The holidays have a way of highlighting the things our kids CAN'T do, and it's okay if you're hit with waves of grief this holiday season...
BUT, just don't let that grief steal the moments of joy that are happening right in front of you, even if it looks different than you imagined 🫶
