A 12hr layover Streets and Eats. My cousin flew into tokyo for a 12hr layover. I took him to a neighborhood nearby for lunch at a very local and chill neighborhood. With old Showa era vibes. There is this neighborhood had many take-away yakitori stand run by w grandmas, but there is one yakitori restaurant that I loved. There are very few Yakitori spots that a tualoy open for lunch because its usually a drinking food. Open for dinner only. Not only was this place open for lunch, they had an amazing lunch menu. I opted for the yakitori bento with an onsen egg (sousvide egg).
