📖 Binding 13 / Keeping 13 Okay, I knew these books wouldn’t be an easy read because a lot of people warned about it. But I never imagined they would touch on such heavy topics. So please - if you want to read these books, check the trigger warnings first. Especially if you’re a sensitive reader. I cried a lot. During some scenes I was panicking and almost had a panic attack while reading. But… what can I say? These books are amazing. I loved Johnny and Shannon’s story so much. And since I’m definitely much closer to Johnny’s parents’ age than to the teenagers, I have to say - his parents are my favorites! I love them. My oldest daughter will be 16 in four years, Shannon’s age. So I was always waiting for chapters with Johnny’s parents, just to see their amazing approach to teenagers. Both of them! I loved their parenting tactics and how they handled everything. Mammy K is amazing - I love her! And Johnny… is he really only 17? So many grown men could learn from him. Seriously. ...
