Happy Monday! This week we’re talking historic moments! The NCAA added flag football 🏈 to their Emerging Sports for Women Program! At LTF, we are adding flag football and rugby in 2027, so it’s great to see future pathways for these girls sports. Laila Edwards is the first Black woman to play on Team USA’s Olympic women’s ice hockey team and she’s killing it! 🏒🥅 She’s scored two goals and had multiple assists helping propel this team to the gold medal game! 🥇🇺🇸 USC🐔 v LSU 🐯 women’s basketball was highlighted on Saturday night prime time! 📺This is the first women’s college basketball game to get a prime time feature. 🏀⛹️‍♀️The game was exciting and ended with a South Carolina win! We can’t wait to see more women’s sports in the limelight. 🔦🤩✨ LTF is looking forward to coaches training 👩‍🏫and programs kicking off soon.
