It’s a special week for me. Two wonderful surgeons are visiting our theater, and it honestly means a lot. One of them is my dear friend Dr. Theogren theogren_b. We trained together during our Advanced Microsurgery and Head & Neck Reconstruction Fellowship in Taiwan, under our beloved Prof. Hung-Chi Chen. He was one of the kindest, most supportive seniors during that time, and now he’s doing great work in Ireland. It’s a joy to have him here. I have been learning great deal from him. The other is Dr. Gerardo Malzone dr.gerardomalzone , a gifted plastic surgeon who focuses on facial paralysis reconstruction. I’ve admired his work for a while, and I’m truly happy we get to share this space and learn from each other. Having both of them here—seeing my cases, sharing ideas, giving feedback—it’s such a valuable experience. More than that, it’s a reminder of how important these connections are.
