I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed “ The Hand Built Show” This event is literally 1 block from my studio I went sat night for serious look and Sunday went back for more.. I met Shinya Kimura it was quite serendipitous as I’d walk the show and then found his work and I couldn’t walk away .. immediately I thought I understand him in such a intimate way, as an artist looks at another real artist not with envy but with monumental respect . What do I know about motorcycles , I’ve loved them all of my life and had a hand full there has always been something in me that loves these machines. Shinya’s creation are like kinetic sculptures that function as mode of rapid movement.
