December engagement! Let’s be real it’s so hard to stay motivated and engaged when the countdown to holiday break is coming soon at the beginning of December I wrapped a present under our Christmas tree and brought in a roll of raffle tickets. Essentially, I created a choice board full of activities that have to do with our courier tech media classroom ranging from designing gingerbread houses gingerbread man making yourself into an elf in Photoshop sublimating ornaments, making seamless patterns of wrapping paper. It was all things they need to know in the design world, but make it Christmasy . When students completed a project, they got a raffle ticket based off of the challenge of the assignment at the end of December. The mystery present will be raffled off the type of guesses of what’s inside. The box is pretty humorous. .
