Some more tips: Avoid strong perfumes and lotions - a no no in the OR Eat a good breakfast - you don’t want to be fainting after a long day in the OR Keep your volume down in the preop area, these patients are nervous for surgery and don’t need to hear your conversations Thank the CRNA you’re with for the day - even a $5 Starbucks gift card or thank you email goes a long way Bring a pen and paper and write down notes and questions you may have, and wait till it’s an appropriate time to ask the CRNA. If they look busy, probably not a good time to ask you list of questions At the end of the day, being in the OR can be overwhelming at first, but don’t worry, we were all new at some point. Whether you’re shadowing or its your first day of clinical, congratulate yourself for making it that far and be a sponge! #icu #icunurses #criticalcarenurse #travelrn #travelnurse #icurn #rnlife #crnaschool #crna #anesthesiaschool  #nurseanesthesia #nurseanesthesiology #nurseanesthetist #nurseanesthe...
