No paints were used in the making of this. WILD! Rough workflow: drew the skeleton of the letters in illustrator. Took it to cinema4d, and dropped the splines into the trusty sweep. Animated individual sweeps separating in space (and reversed it). Exported every 5 frames of the animation. AND THEN. downloaded photoshop beta, and tricked it to do a partial generative fill (click mask, paint bucket grey, describe treatment in the contextual task bar) on each frame. Put it all together on AE and made minor color tweaks. Hit export. BOOM! I've been playing with GenAI long enough to find it cool but not particularly USEFUL beyond making brand mockups or brainstorming (usually bad) ideas in the kind of work I tend to do.
