We launched our first app 😁 Just over half a year ago we revealed friendtheory to the world and with a very basic platform and a lot of determination we managed to get people from 150 countries around the world to start connecting with their friends' friends in order to make traveling cheaper, safer and a lot funner for everyone! After traveling around and testing the platform, we soon realised we needed an app, and without any prior experience in developing apps we finally got there! Our ultimate goal is to inspire and enable people to travel more. Having a local friend in a foreign country opens so many doors and makes the whole travel experience cheaper, and less 'scary'. - We hope that this app will be a step into realising our vision because we really believe that traveling educates us to be open minded, empathetic to other cultures which will ultimately benefit our society.
