I have always been moved, saved perhaps, by grace.
By its strength and complexity.
By the fractal complexity of each thing, each being, and the power of their interdependence.
During my studies of music and then architecture, I was mainly interested in biomimicry and generative structure. Then I discovered dance and met the woman I love. The grace of a dancer, the grace of jeanne_in_flight appeared to me as the ideal subject.
How to capture grace? How to make it eternal?
And we went to work in weightlessness.
And for the past five years I have been working to draw the most accurate and sincere movement; that of Jeanne's emotions while dancing, freed from the weight that attaches us to the Earth.
