Dips are great exercise to build upper body strength, consider two more variations with bar walks and Russian dips
☝️Triceps Brachii: This is the primary muscle worked during dips, responsible for elbow extension and straightening the arm.
☝️Pectoralis Major (Chest): The lower chest is highly engaged, particularly when leaning slightly forward, to assist with shoulder flexion.
☝️Anterior Deltoids (Front Shoulder): These muscles stabilize the shoulder joint and assist in pushing the body up during the dip.
☝️Rhomboids and Trapezius (Upper Back): These muscles stabilize the shoulder blades and upper back, supporting proper form and shoulder positioning.
☝️Latissimus Dorsi (Lats): The lats help stabilize the shoulder and upper body as you lower and push up.
☝️Core Muscles: Core stability is essential to maintain balance and control throughout the movement, particularly the rectus abdominis and obliques.
