VOICE GEM #1033, #1034, #1035 - HERBERT W. FRANKE Dear friends, we are pleased to share three new voice gems as part of the ongoing Voice Gems archival project. The works are generated from the personally gifted voice data of electronic artist and pioneer and #arselectronica co-founder Herbert W. Franke. Herbert W. Franke (born 14 May 1927 in Vienna) is an Austrian scientist and writer. Die Zeit calls him "the most prominent German writing Science Fiction author". He is also one of the important early computer artists (and collectors), creating computer graphics and early digital art since the late 1950s. The collboration is part of the ongoing VOICE GEMS project. Collecting the most unique, influential and vulnerable voices on Earth to generate digital gemstones. All gems added to the archive are logged and numbered and can exist as digital video, large scale projection or physical sculpture.
