The intersection of Egyptian talent and Silicon Valley innovation has reached a new milestone. Karim El Sewedy, a Business Operations leader at the $3.2 billion AI firm Retool, has successfully spearheaded the launch of “AI Agents,” a product designed to move artificial intelligence from experimental pilots into live enterprise production. Serving as the program manager, El Sewedy led a complex, six-month cross-functional effort that aligned engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to deliver what has been described as the most significant release since the company’s founding. A graduate of The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, El Sewedy joined Retool over three years ago from McKinsey & Company.
