The Saudi gaming ecosystem has gained a high-caliber player today, January 14, 2026, as Khosouf Studio officially closed a $600,000 (SAR 2.2 million) seed round. The investment was led by Merak Capital through its $81 million Gaming Fund—a strategic vehicle launched in partnership with the National Development Fund (NDF) to foster original intellectual property within the Kingdom. Founded in 2020 by Ahmad Al-Natsheh, Khosouf Studio has built a reputation for premium, narrative-driven experiences, including the award-winning "BOX to the BEAT VR." With this new capital, the studio is relocating its entire base from the UAE to Saudi Arabia, directly supporting Vision 2030’s mission to transform the Kingdom into a global epicenter for interactive entertainment.
