By 2026, up to 90% of online content could be synthetic. The problem is when AI trains on AI, quality collapses. Think photocopies of photocopies. Each version gets worse. Real ideas take time. Real experience takes living. And that’s exactly what AI needs to survive. When we stop writing, thinking, making art, journaling, arguing, creating badly and honestly, AI doesn’t get better.
