Highways broken… Fields split apart… Entire regions separated by a scar across the land. It sounds dramatic, but in reality the Earth usually releases pressure through earthquakes along faults rather than one huge straight fracture across a whole nation. Even famous systems like the San Andreas Fault move in sections instead of forming a single country-wide split.
