~Marmots~ Marmots are found on the way from Nubra to Pangong. The species is in danger of extinction due to excessive human intervention in their habitat and travellers feeding them snacks. The Himalayan marmots who are now used to having snacks are not intrested in natural food sources anymore. They Hibernate during winter season in the burrows and go into naps.
