We’ve been approved. 👨‍👨‍👦 We had our adoption approval panel yesterday morning. After months of preparations with barnardos_uk and our fantastic social worker, we faced the panel. Due to the current situation, we had our panel via Zoom. We had a Q&A session of about an hour with eight professionals, medical advisor, social workers, adoptees, adopters. The questions were about our journey, the way we will face challenges, the impact of our childhood and involvement our families. We felt both very comfortable, supported and well prepared. It was a unanimous decision ❤️. It marks officially the end of the assessment process.
