We don’t often rebook the same cottage twice. But we’ve already booked this one again. It’s one of those cottages that feels properly considered. Original beams, curved walls and muted tones give it real depth, but it never tips into fussy. The inglenook fireplace anchors the sitting room beautifully, though if we’re honest, we spent most of our time in the garden room. It’s lighter, calmer, and looks straight onto the lawn, which Maxie our little pooch claimed within minutes. We cooked most evenings, used the farmhouse table properly, and slipped out for easy drives to Blakeney and the coast whenever we fancied sea air. This cottage is wonderfully comfortable, and very easy to settle into.
