Skylar’s birthday is this week (January 13) and I can’t believe how fast the time flies 🥹 To me, she will always be this perfect little puppy. Bringing Skylar home truly felt like fulfilling a dream I’d had since I was a little girl who just wanted a dog to be that loving best friend who gives unconditional love. I got that and so much more. Not a day goes by where I don’t feel grateful for her. Skylar has taught me so much about love, life, and happiness. Love is so much more about actions than words. Life is short, so live in the moment and appreciate the little things. And the best way to experience joy is to give it to the ones you love. She‘s taught me how to be a mom. To nurture, protect, and love with my whole heart. She’s taught me about patience, letting go, and meeting someone where they are.
