“While my daughter does not understand today, I can’t wait to show her that her mom never gave up on her dreams.” That was the final line of Megan’s application to The Chase team. Last fall, Megan was eight minutes off the OTQ standard, but her belief in herself, and in what she was capable of after becoming a mom, was undeniable. She backed it up with a huge 2:41 PR at Indianapolis in November, building momentum toward her goal of breaking 2:37 and qualifying for the 2028 trials. Just four months later, she did it. 2:36:03 at the McKirdy MicrOTQ, 57 seconds under the standard. 🥹 Let Megan be proof that big dreams don’t go away, you just chase them differently. We’re so excited for Megan, and know this is only the beginning! 📸: meteredexposure #runinrabbit #borntorunfree #thechase
