My first boat was a 14' Valco Aluminum that leaked like no other. I bought it off Craigslist for $250, full of pine needles at age 24. I caught more big bass out of that POS than 99.9% of boats ever made. It was never about the boat, it is only one piece of this marvelous puzzle. It's been a long, slow and steady grind to present day. All I can say to those aspiring, to those DREAMing is to embrace the process. Embrace the struggle. Embrace each step towards what you want to do. I learned that it's about the journey, not the destination that has given me the most out of all these experiences.
