March 27 is World Theatre Day! This day, first designated in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute (ITI), celebrates the essence, beauty, and importance of theatre arts, their role in entertainment, and the impact that theatre arts has on life. For today, Howard letterpress printed a linoleum cut from the Al from New Jersey Collection. This cut was gifted to us by Al a couple years ago and it is pretty perfect for today. The image from the cut depicts the theatre symbols for comedy and drama and also two theatre actors.
