Brother of the Month Spotlight — Tim Scott Year: Junior Hometown: Santa Cruz, California Major: Economics and Math Why He Rushed: Tim was drawn to Pi Kappa Phi because it was clearly a supportive community full of great people. He joined because he wanted to be part of a brotherhood where he could build strong friendships, make great memories, and be surrounded by people who would support him. Since joining, he has made lifelong friends and had some of the most fun days of his life. His Experience in Pi Kappa Phi: Tim’s experience in Pi Kappa Phi has been shaped by both brotherhood and service. As a member of the executive board, he oversees the chapter’s philanthropy, The Ability Experience, and has shown a real passion for giving back. One example of that was organizing a call-a-thon that helped the chapter raise over $6,000 for Special Olympics.
