Two expressions of A. Lange & Söhne’s singular, demanding approach to watchmaking. The Grosse Langematik Gangreserve reflects the brand’s early post-revival philosophy: take a fundamentally simple display — time with power reserve — and execute it to the highest possible standard. Automatically wound via an offset rotor, this uncomplicated watch is uncompromising – a hidden feature is a zero-reset seconds hand for precise time-setting. At the other end, the Datograph Perpetual represents the manufacture at full stretch — combining a flyback chronograph with a perpetual calendar, complete with oversized date, moon phases, and leap year indication. Introduced in 2006, it brought together two of watchmaking’s most demanding complications within a single, meticulously constructed caliber of over 500 components.
