KIDNAPPING CHARGES: A 38-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly led a child out the back of a laundromat and took her to the Patchogue-Medford Library’s children’s play area. Carlos Corte of Patchogue faces charges of kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, and has an outstanding warrant, according to police.
