At Thursday’s public meeting hosted by the Small Business Association of Jamaica and the Public Procurement Commission, the official launch of a 20% government contract allocation for MSMEs took centre stage. Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Aubyn Hill and Minister of Finance and Public Service, Fayval William, outlined the framework behind the initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to working with the Commission to register and prepare businesses to access these contracts.
