One of the top performers in Nebraska’s Spring Game was early enrollee freshman running back Jamal Rule, who delivered the highlight of the day with a 75-yard touchdown run.
The North Carolina native @official._rule finished with 121 rushing yards, averaging 13.2 yards per carry as he made an early impression in a crowded running back room.
Rule said enrolling early helped prepare him for moments like Saturday.
“I wanted to come in and compete right away,” Rule said. “I’m just trying to prove I can help this team this fall.”
