Our Senior Vice President of External Affairs, Peter Grollman, helped launch Philadelphia’s Block Party Bonanza at a special event this week. The bonanza will help power 250 neighborhood block parties across Philadelphia to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. CHOP created special “Life” kits to help support the celebrations and build a healthy community, block by block. The kits contain things like water bottles, first-aid kits, seeds to grow flowers and vegetables, children’s books, and more.
