It’s a whole new ballgame for students when STEM and baseball come together ⚾📐🧡 This March, students at IS 230 in Queens joined the Amazin’ Mets Foundation for a day of fun, accessible STEM learning experiences through our STEM in Baseball program, powered by scienceofsport__. STEM in Baseball connects the fundamentals of baseball with essential science, technology, engineering, and math concepts that provide students with a fun, accessible way to explore science, math, and baseball all at once. With the help of the day’s very special guest teacher, Mr. Met, students calculated angles and velocity to understand how players track the ball in the field.
