Portland artist blcksmth brought together a group of people to spell out a message that could be seen "from space" on the Burnside Bridge during Saturday's "No Kings" protest. His work, he said Thursday over the phone, is inspired by that of Jenny Holzer, Barbara Kruger and Spencer Tunick, among others. Schneider is a big supporter of protest in general and is part of the local group organizing Saturday’s event. “There’s something wonderful about being in a crowd of like-minded people,” Schneider said.
